Heather Van Wie, President and CEO of The Cottages On The Key, joins the Board of Visit Sarasota County for a two-year term.
Heather is the CEO, and President of Vaaraway, and The Cottages On The Key, two unique and organically grown Sarasota-based hospitality businesses specializing in luxury property management, revenue, reservations, and marketing management for vacation rental properties. She is also a Board Member of VRNation, an alliance of national Property Managers dedicated to reshaping how travelers plan their stays, where she represents the Eastern US.
“I am thrilled to join the board of this prestigious organization that has profound economic impact on tourism, and our local economy,” said Heather. “I am looking forward to working with other prominent members of our community, and hope to provide valuable insights and ideas, based upon my 16+ years of experience in the local vacation rental industry.”
