Nashville is, of course, best known for its outstanding music. But did you know that the city is also home to a thriving filmmaking community as well? In 2024 Nashville will be hosting its 55th annual event, showcasing a wide range of films from independent film makers around the world and spotlighting amazing documentaries, indie films, and studio releases alike. It provides a platform for emerging talent, featuring diverse genres and styles of cinema.
Over 40,000 people come to town just to attend the Nashville Film Festival where, alongside well- known names, it’s an opportunity for local directors, writers, and producers to show off their creations at the event, making it a great place to discover hidden talents amongst Nashville’s extremely creative residents. Along with watching premieres, attendees can attend Q&A sessions with film makers and participate in workshops and panel discussions, making it a very inclusive event for film enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.
