Liberty Bar– If cocktails are your thing and trying out new flavors and tastes excites you, then head on over to Liberty Bar They keep their seasonal and regular cocktail menu small, putting quality and creativity above quantity. Esquire Tavern – The Esquire Tavern is one of the oldest bars on the River Walk. Known for its historic charm and famous 100-foot mahogany bar – holding the record for the longest bar top in the state! Having survived both the Great Depression and Prohibition, this is a bar steeped in history and with many a story to tell – the live jazz and burlesque nights just add to the glamor of this iconic meeting place.

Elsewhere Garden Bar & Kitchen – There’s a reason why people flock to this river walk bar and eatery – their strap line is Always Local, Always Fresh! Serving a wide variety of beers, margaritas, spiked coffees, seltzers, wines, and fresh locally sourced ingredients PLUS they are dog friendly – what’s not to love? This colorful and vibrant hangout attracts like-minded souls and their four-legged friends!
Mi Roti – Mi Roti is a Caribbean street food shack housed in Pearl’s hipster Bottling Department Food Hall. Roti is a Caribbean flatbread, which is equally delicious both as a wrap or on its own with a side of dipping sauce. Set your tastebuds tingling and build your own or select from the menu suggestions.
Range – If you’re going to order a steak in San Antonio, make sure you check out Range. In our opinion, if the quality and cut of the meat can speak for itself without too much ‘dressing’ then that’s the sign of a good steak! If red meat isn’t quite you’re thing or your dinner companion prefers fish – then Range has you covered with some fishy alternatives!
Battalion – Battalion brings Italian fine dining to San Antonio and serves up handmade pasta as well as all your favorite Italian classics. Soak up the ambiance and history in this converted firehouse complete with a pole!
Mon Chou Chou-At Brasserie Mon Chou Chou diners can enjoy a piece of Paris in San Antonio. McNay Art Museum – This stunning institution is known for its impressive collection of modern and contemporary art. It’s housed in a beautiful Spanish Colonial Revival style mansion and features works by renowned artists such as Picasso and O’Keeffe.
Pearl District – The Pearl District could take the crown for the most charming cultural hotspot, with fabulous architecture to admire, and dotted with great restaurants- it’s a vibe like no other! This San Antonio gem is not to be missed!
