All that you would expect from a celebration of the nation’s birthday, Florida style! Including the annual Privateers Parade in the morning, ending with a Picnic Celebration at the City Pier. Food and fun for all the family!

The Sandbar Restaurant – an Anna Maria institution and a great place for authentic food, a lively atmosphere and mesmerizing sunsets – hosts 4th July fireworks on the north end of the beach. If you’re not tempted to dine at the restaurant, then pull up a beach chair and watch the sky light up over the Gulf of Mexico! You may even catch sight of the fireworks in nearby Sarasota and Bradenton too!
